Do you remember when this article was circulating your facebook newsfeed? It claimed that one of the leading brands of Almond Milk contained less than 2% of almonds. What? Boy, these companies get away with a lot when it comes food labels. So, as consumers we need to be more aware of what we are purchasing.
Anyway, I decided I would go ahead and make my own. The result: pure deliciousness! Now, I’m not trying to say that I won’t buy the stuff at the grocery store anymore. I am human. It’s a huge convenience being able to toss it in my cart and go. However, if I know I am going to be using almond milk for an upcoming recipe, I will make a batch of the homemade stuff. It just tastes better!
